The “Promotional Days” organized by the Confederation of All Civil Society Organizations in Istanbul have begun.
The “Promotional Days” organized by the Confederation of All Civil Society Organizations are taking place at the Yenikapı Event Area.
On the first day of the promotional days, which will be held from October 28 to 31, political party representatives and presidents of civil society organizations attended. The event featured local cuisines and cultural and artistic activities.
During the event, the ITU Maritime Faculty (YDO) Alumni Social Assistance Foundation (DEFAV) also participated. Hüseyin Aksu, the Deputy Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), and Cevdet Akay, the President of the Confederation of All Civil Society Organizations, visited the associations in the cultural tent.
Deputy Mayor Hüseyin Aksu and Confederation President Cevdet Akay visited DEFAV to learn more about the foundation. During the visit, Eng. İlker Meşe, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of DEFAV, presented his book titled “Customs, Traditions, and Etiquette at Sea” as a gift to Deputy Mayor Hüseyin Aksu and Confederation President Cevdet Akay.
